AAM Presents What's Happening

2020 has been a tumultuous year to say the least. We were introduced to the coronavirus. We saw national protests in almost every state – people stood up to say enough already, this is not what our country is supposed to be about. We are currently seeing the next wave of the virus spreading through not only our country but the world as a whole. And many people have lost their jobs, their homes and their ability to care for themselves and their family.

Now more than ever it is important that you exercise your right to vote. Your voice can be heard if you add it to the voices of others that are voting in record numbers this year.

With only days before election day make a plan on how you are going to vote. In most states it is too late to mail in your ballot. If you have one drop it off at a drop box or at the county office that accepts ballots. For information on where your polling place is located visit www.vote.org. You can also search for early voting information in your state, drop box locations and obtain your ballot information at the same website. Again, go to https://www.vote.org/.

You have the right to vote. If anyone tries to stop you, call the Election Protection Hotline at 1-866-687-8683
